Our Brand Story

Meet Paul and Denise, the husband-and-wife team behind Charming Beads. What started as a crafty escape from Paul's IT career at Lloyds Bank soon became a shared passion for helping fellow crafters find beautiful beads and genuine gemstones at fair prices. From humble beginnings selling beads from a spare bedroom, Charming Beads has grown into one of the UK's favourite suppliers of gemstone beads, charms and jewellery-making supplies.

Over the years we've weathered some pretty big storms, built an amazing team, navigated our way through Brexit and even helped thousands of people discover or rediscover crafting during the Covid-19 pandemic. Our passion for authentic gemstone beads remains as strong today as it was when we started, and we're excited to continue expanding our range with lots of new products planned in the months ahead.
